About Me

VictoriaHasbaniFinalWeb-1614.JPG

I have been working with children and families for over 20 years. I obtained my Bachelor of Social Work and Masters of Social Work from McGill University in 1997 and 2003 respectively. I also hold previous degrees from the University of Ottawa. Most recently,  A certificate in Family Mediation was obtained through York University in 2019.

After having worked in the field of Addictions for a few years, I began working with children and families within child welfare for over a decade.  This experience led me to the The Royal Hospital where I was employed as a Clinical Social Worker with the Family Court Clinic. Since 2011, I have been providing counselling to children, youth and adults within the educational system.  Also since 2011, I have been an active panel member with the Office of the Children's Lawyer.  As a Clinical Investigator, Custody/Access assessments (section 112 reports) and Voice of the Child Reports are provided to the Courts.

I am a member of the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers; the Canadian Association of Social Workers; and the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts.
