VickiHasbaniFinalWeb-1614_edited.png

I have been working with children and families for over 20 years. I obtained my Bachelor of Social Work and Masters of Social Work from McGill University in 1997 and 2003 respectively. I also hold previous degrees from the University of Ottawa. Additionally, I've completed trainings in EMDR and the Gottman Method for Couples therapy.  I have also completed the certificate of Family Mediation through York University in 2019.

I offer therapeutic services to young people, adults, couples and family as they navigate through their challenges.  I make use of various techniques such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focussed Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and/or Psychotherapy.

I also provide forensic services for families who require specialized services.  My background in this area includes addictions, child welfare, and high conflict separation and divorce.  I have been an active panel member with the Office of the Children's Lawyer since 2011.  I offer Mediation Services, Parenting Plan Assessments, Voice of the Child reports, Co-Parenting Facilitation Services, along with Reunification Therapy whether court-ordered or on consent.

I am a registered member of the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers.
